Emrullah Topraksever, owner of Sign Diamond Baguette, one of the exhibitors, said, “The wedding season is approaching with the summer season of 2022. Therefore, our products were prepared accordingly. This year, baguette products are in demand. We also worked from baguette products for the summer season. At the same time, we were at the Miami Fair last week. We did good works for our country at the fair. Now we continue the same collection here. I hope this season will be very good as the pandemic is over. This fair could not take place for two years. That’s why we prepared well this year. People are obviously job-hungry. So I hope it will be very good,” he said.
“The most important thing is to look at the cost of benefit”
Explaining the points to be considered while buying a diamond, Topraksever said, “Here, it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of the diamond first and then the quality of workmanship. The most important thing is to look at the cost benefit. How much do we want to pay? What do we want to buy? If the customer is aware of this issue, then it will be very easy. There is a scale from D to Z. Generally, H and higher are used on jewelry. Of course for five and six years now the trend has risen to F, G, E. We use mixed claritys as internal clarity. It can be preferred this way. Diamonds are in demand and sales are very good. At the same time, we are a very good producer on the basis of other countries. Our jewelry exports are very strong,” he said.
