Who is Emir Ersoy?
Turkish pianist, arranger and producer Emir Ersoy was born on October 14, 1977. Emir Ersoy, who accompanied his father on stage during his education years, thus started his professional music career. In the following years, Emir Ersoy started to work on the stage with Turkey’s leading musicians and singers. Since the end of 1997, he crossed paths with Alpay, one of the well-known artists of the same period as his father. After this relationship, which lasted for about 3 years, he undertook the arrangement of Alpay’s album Küçük Bir Öykü.
It was created by Emir Ersoy in 2010 with the contributions of important names of Turkish pop music such as Ajda Pekkan, Kenan Doğulu, Funda Arar, Metin Ersoy, Ayça Varlıer, Yaşar, Deniz Seki, Kubat, Tuğba Özerk and Emre Altuğ, by donating its income to the Shelter Volunteers Association. The album “Give Life a Chance” with 10 Songs and 10 Singers, in which he contributed to the stray animals, was also released on the Soulfulworks Records label. He gave the first Symphonic Salsa concert in Turkey with the Bursa Symphony Orchestra on 29 December 2010 at the newly built Atatürk Congress and Culture Center in Bursa.
